Welcome to the Mako Summer League!
We here at the Mako Summer League team are very excited to start a brand new season! This is our fourth summer as a team, that is owned and operated by the Topeka Swim Association.
Registration is now open for Summer 2025 and we are so excited to meet everyone on June 2nd.
Practices are held in the morning from 8:30-9:30am at Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center in Gage Park.
Why Choose the Mako Team?
Mako's are a very low commitment team running during June and part of July. This is a six week team that really helps swimmers know if swimming is the right sport for them. Where your swimmer also gets to learn about all four strokes in a short period of time. Mako's breaks down swim meets in a very fun environment without disqualifications. Plus, there's no need for anyone to be USA Swimming Certified!
Prerequisite: Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool (a 25) on their own.
